App Smashing Tutorial – Soundtrap and Scratch

App smashing presents the opportunity for your students to learn in new, exciting ways. If you’re a computer science teacher, you may be familiar with Scratch, a programming software that teaches children how to code. But did you know that your students can take their educational experience to the next level by app-smashing Soundtrap and Scratch? Here’s everything you need to know about app smashing Soundtrap with Scratch to create a dynamic educational experience that your students are sure to enjoy.

What Is App Smashing?

App smashing is pretty easy to understand, and you’re probably using this technique in your lesson plans without realizing it. Essentially, app smashing occurs when students create a portion of an assignment in one application and then switch to another app to create a different part of the same assignment. Finally, students will merge both pieces of content to produce a polished final project.

Why App Smash?

Today’s students are accustomed to using multiple apps to yield their desired results, so why not bring this into the classroom? App smashing encourages students to solve problems in new, creative ways while creating engaging projects that would not have been possible with a single app. With app smashing, your students can take their EdTech projects to the next level, and they’ll have fun every step of the way!
