What Is App Smashing?

App smashing is about allowing students to express themselves fully with easy-to-use EdTech tools. Students can work on the part of a project in one app and create another component of the same project in another app. Then, they’ll merge these elements for a dynamic project unlike any other! Today, we’ll explain how you and your students can app smash Soundtrap with Adobe Express and bring excitement back into the classroom.

Why App Smash?

App smashing encourages your students to think outside the box and maximizes the value created by your applications. Also, students will have more fun creating their projects, which stimulates the reward system. When students associate learning materials with a positive mood, it enhances their ability to retain information and stay on task. Since modern students are digital natives, incorporating the technology they know and love into your lesson plans is a great way to create an engaging learning environment.
