Back-to-School Checklist
✅ Step 1: One to Two Weeks Before the School Year Ends

Encourage students to download the amazing work they’ve created throughout the year. Download Projects Tutorial
Have graduates create a personal Soundtrap account using their personal email. To migrate existing projects, they can submit a support request with both their school and personal email addresses. Submit Support Request
✅ Step 2: End of School Year
If you do not have an LMS connection, you can delete users who will not be returning for the following school year. Delete Users Tutorial
Note: Once user accounts have been deleted, any data within those accounts will be deleted as well and cannot be recovered.
If you do have an LMS connection, create a group titled “To Be Deleted,” add users to it, and contact support to delete users in that group. Contact Support
For users that will be returning the following school year, you may unassign their seats. Users with an unassigned seat will retain their account and projects, however they may not be able to log into their account and may not be able to collaborate with their teacher or peers. ✅ Step 3: One Week Before the School Year Begins
There are several ways to roster students. Choose the method that best fits your school environment:

Groups are how students can collaborate and teachers can assign projects. Teachers and students can be part of multiple groups and the number of groups you can create depends on which Soundtrap plan you’re on. Group Management Tutorial
Ensure students follow the correct process on their first login.

Creating an assignment will help you organize all your students’ projects. When you share an assignment with a student, their project is automatically added to a folder- you won’t have to remind students to “turn it in.” Assignment Tutorial
